The underappreciated rabbit runner

A rabbit runner (so named because the small loops on the ends vaguely resemble bunny ears) is a relatively obscure yet very handy bit of gear.

Why are they cool? The main reason is that they have pretty much all the versatility of a double length/120 cm sling, with the weight and bulk of a single length / 60 cm sling. It's also really easy to rack them over your shoulder without tangling.

I wrote a guest blog post on the excellent website Weigh My Rack that takes a closer look at rabbit runners, and I suggest you go over there to learn more about this clever piece of gear.
